Biography

Dr. Ajmal Shah has got BSc engineering degree in the field of Agricultural Engineering from University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Peshawar in 1999 with distinction. He got MS degree in Nuclear Engineering from Pakistan Institute of Engineering and Applied Sciences (PIEAS), Islamabad in 2002 and got gold medal for securing first position in the class. He also got his PhD degree from PIEAS in Nuclear Engineering in the year 2012. He performed postdoc study at Institute of Mechanics of Fluid Toulouse (IMFT), France in 2015-16 to study the Combustion in Porous media using Direct Numerical Simulation (DNS) technique. He is currently involved in the study of steam condensation in subcooled water, scrubbing of Iodine from air using liquid solution, Sloshing Dynamics, Machine Learning Algorithms, Heat transfer analysis, Computational Fluid Dynamics, Two Phase Flow Dynamics, Interfacial Mass Transfer Modeling and Analysis.
