Introduction

There are certain processes involved in engineering equipment and setups whose exact physics is very complicated and not fully understood, like direct contact condensation of steam in subcooled water, scrubbing of gaseous pollutant from air through liquid solution etc. The quantification of such processes through mathematical models is an art which enables us to study such processes through computational analysis. This group works on the development of such models and they have developed the following two models so far;
1. Direct Contact Condensation (DCC) Model
2. Iodine scrubbing from Air through Water solution
