Biography

Dr. Nadeem Shaukat is currently working as a Professor at the Center for Mathematical Sciences (CMS), Pakistan Institute of Engineering and Applied Sciences (PIEAS), Islamabad. He won Seoul National University Global Scholarship for Doctoral studies in 2013 and did his Ph.D. in 2017 under the mentorship of Prof. Shim Hyung Jin, Department of Nuclear Engineering, Seoul National University, South Korea. In 2006, he won PIEAS MS Fellowship and did his MS in Nuclear Engineering with appreciation of best thesis award of final year. He received his M.Sc. (Honors) and B.Sc. (Honors) degrees in Mathematics from University of the Punjab, Lahore with distinction and full time merit scholarship. He has worked at COMSATS Institute of Information Technology, Attock Campus as a Lecturer in 2006. Currently, he is also associated with the research groups including Reactor Physics Code Development and Simulations, Optimization Techniques and Monte Carlo Simulations. His research interests include broad areas of Applied Mathematics.
