Welcome to CMS
The Centre for Mathematical Sciences (CMS) at PIEAS will foster investigation and understanding of fundamental as well as emerging areas of mathematics.
It will strive to produce high-quality research that engages the worldwide scientific community. CMS will be a center to excellent research facilities
including high end supercomputing machine. The center will not only employ full time exceptional researchers; but will also invite renowned mathematicians,
scholars and experts worldwide to visit and participate in various activities. It will organize multiple workshops, symposiums and conferences around the
year on specific themes varying from core concepts to cutting edge technologies. A conducive environment will be developed for young researchers which will
enable them to get substantive knowledge and a resource on important conceptual and innovative areas. Opportunities will be created for all to fulfill their
thirst to understand core concepts and their applications in leading and emerging research areas. Multiple other programs will be formulated through
teaching and online linkage worldwide to help young researchers broaden their horizon and relating applications of mathematics in multiple fields.
The aim will be to lead a sizeable increase in the cross-fertilization of ideas as people from different places and different disciplines will meet
and exchange ideas. This all will help us to produce quality mathematicians and researchers for the prosperous Pakistan.
